Hong Lantern is an online outlet for Chinese “antique style” furniture. This eCommerce site was contracted to an IT firm. GRIDNYC was retained by the IT firm to design the landing page and general look and feel of the site.
Our design result was well liked by the end client. A unique characteristic is the red lantern theme, which connects strongly with the brand (“Hong” is “red” in Chinese). The visual motif is a harmonious scene at the royal court; it elevates the product/brand position a notch higher.
